Before and After

We have the gorgeous Chicago Botanic Gardens nearby and it contains the only waterfall for miles. Want to show you a before & after of my picture taking.

I took this picture in 2007.


I thought this picture was DA BOMB! I had captured silky water, and nothing else mattered. It's horrible. Overly blue, over saturated, just BAD.

Now, here's a 2009 picture of the same waterfall. Same equipment, same location, same photographer ... just a bit more knowledge.



What a difference!
I'm not saying I know everything, far from it. Photography baffles me sometimes, there are things I just can't seem to comprehend but I am taking baby steps & attempting to improve.
